Description
SB Tactical SBPDW pistol stabilizing brace is a three-position adjustable PDW-style brace designed for mil-spec AR-15 receivers. Developed in conjunction with Maxim Defense, it comes as a complete ready-to-install assembly with a proprietary buffer tube, integral end plate and castle nut, and an adjustable nylon strap.
The SBPDW adjusts from 6.75 inches when collapsed to 9.375 inches when fully extended, with a middle position at 8.125 inches. This compact adjustment range makes it a practical choice for AR pistol builds where space, maneuverability, and support are important.
The assembly is compatible with mil-spec bolt carrier groups, carbine buffers, and carbine springs. A QD attachment point is positioned at the six o’clock location on the housing, providing a convenient sling-mounting option without requiring a separate attachment accessory.
The SB Tactical SBPDW AR pistol brace includes the proprietary buffer tube and adjustable strap, but does not include the buffer or spring. The integral aluminum end plate and castle nut are part of the assembly. Use care during installation or removal because standard castle nut wrenches are often made from steel and may damage the aluminum castle nut.

Compatibility notes
The SBPDW is not compatible with Freedom Ordnance FX-9 lowers or SIG M400/516 lowers that have integral QD sockets. Confirm receiver compatibility before ordering.
